When cruising to the Caribbean, you’ll likely dine on decent enough food, but the all-you-can-eat buffets and average drinks are far from a memorable culinary experience. Whether you’ve dared to dream of it or not, a new food, wine and spirits festival at sea is here to satisfy foodies looking for a taste of the best while cruising to the sunny shores of the Bahamas.

Chefs Making Waves, a new food-focused cruise from Sixthman—the team known for Rock the Boat, Cayamo and other festival experiences on both land and sea—sets sail from Miami in March of next year. After a successful pre-sale with a third of the rooms booked, spots on this cruise are now open to the public. Like a standard cruise, Chefs Making Waves is all-inclusive, but the offerings aboard the ship are far from typical.

The four-day itinerary is packed with food-focused offerings, from walk-around tastings and cooking demos to curated dinners, late-night parties, mixology classes, culinary-themed entertainment options (including Bingo, movie nights and trivia) and many more delicious experiences. Offerings will be led by top culinary chefs and personalities like Michael Symon, Aarón Sánchez, Buddy Valastro, Andrew Zimmern, Anne Burrell, Marcus Samuelsson and others.

The cruise will be held aboard the Norwegian Cruise Lines ship Pearl, a 965-foot vessel with about 1,000 rooms. If the food offerings are not enough, passengers also have access to the ship’s spa, casino, bars and lounges. The ship makes stops at Norwegian’s private island Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau.

The cruise sails from March 25, 2023-March 29, 2023. Tickets are on sale now at www.chefsmakingwaves.com.
