Although nearly a year of seclusion and stay-at-home orders have undoubtedly ignited our desire to spend time with other humans, this new "job" by Trips to Discover sounds pretty good at the moment. The travel site is looking for a candidate to spend three nights in a top-rated secluded Airbnb within driving distance of his/her home for an experience valued at $2,021. The catch: the winner will have to give up on every single one of his or her digital devices for the full 72 hours.

"In addition to last year’s cancelled plans, we all also dealt with a serious case of digital overload," reads the official job description. "It's hard to fight the urge to keep on 'doomscrolling' and your mental health surely pays the price. That’s why we’re heading up a search for a brave individual, couple or family willing to unplug from electronics in an effort to refresh after a difficult 2020."

That's right: you can apply for the position alongside your significant other or your entire family. Talk about a modern vacation.

Here are the details: in addition to your stay, you'll be treated to a $200 stipend for gas, a special snack delivery and a $200 cash bonus upon completion of the job. You'll also get to ultimately choose an Airbnb to stay at yourself.

As for the job requirements, expect to keep a daily journal of your experience, complete a short mindfulness exercise each day and snap photos of your stay with a single-use camera that Trips to Discover will provide you with.

To be quite honest with you, this self-imposed tranquility sounds idyllic at the moment given the events that have taken over our country in the past few weeks.

Want to apply? You've got until January 31 to do so right here
