We're all wondering what travel is going to look like in the near future, from what the middle seat might look like on airplanes to the technology that is taking over Amtrak trains. Frontier Airlines is getting ahead of the pack by offering passengers a "more room" option that guarantees you'll sit next to an empty middle seat for a mere $39.

"If you'd like a little more peace of mind and a little more space, we're going to offer that option," CEO Barry Biffle said in an interview with Next with Kyle Clark.

The new option is available between May 8 and August 31 and passengers and employees will still be required to wear a face mask.

Other airlines have also announced how they plan to keep passengers safe this summer. Delta plans to reduce the number of passengers per flight and block middle seats while Southwest said it will limit the number of people on board a flight so the middle seat won't need to be used.
