Want to meditate with Mickey or sweat with Cinderella? If you love working out and all things Disney, then this is the mashup you've been waiting for. (And it's a way cooler option than just jogging to "We Don't Talk About Bruno.")
Disneyland’s new fitness classes will let you sweat it out in the theme park before it opens. That's right, as the sun rises over the most magical place on Earth, you can get in your daily workout inside the Disney California Adventure Park, surrounded by completely empty rides and attractions. More than a dozen group fitness classes, hosted by the Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, are available to guests staying at any of the Disneyland hotels. All are held in unique settings, many within the park itself.
Looking to prep for a long day of walking the park and riding the rides? Take a yoga class with views of the park – and don't forget to wear your Disney ears. For a more intense workout, what could be better than boot camp or a power walk through a visitor-free park? Or choose to crawl, jump, run and climb through the Redwood Creek Challenge trail. Those with an affinity for water can take paddle board yoga in the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s Fountain Pool. Other options include meditation and fascia release. Each class lasts 30 to 45 minutes and is open to guests 14 and older.
This new fitness offering for Disney hotel guests sounds like the perfect combo of fitness and fun. We just hope some of the Disney characters get in on the workouts too.
Afterward, make sure to fuel up with the best food to try at Disneyland.
