The beloved bulk retailer is kicking off March with a bang, opening several new warehouses and officially surpassing 900 global locations.
Back in December, the Issaquah, Washington-based giant revealed its plan to open 29 new stores during its 2025 fiscal year, which runs through August 31, 2025. Now, six of those new locations are set to open next month across the U.S., bringing Costco’s total count to 903 warehouses worldwide.
Costco currently operates 897 locations, with 617 in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The warehouse club's presence has gone worldwide with 109 locations in Canada, 41 in Mexico, 36 in Japan, 29 in the U.K., 19 in Korea and more—even reaching as far as Iceland, New Zealand and Sweden.
But the store openings aren’t the only big change on the horizon. In case you missed it, Costco is also shaking things up at its food court, swapping Pepsi for Coca-Cola fountain drinks starting summer 2025.
