Looking to get through airport security even faster? On November 30, Clear will open registration to Clear Plus members for its new facial identity verification process. The company’s NextGen Identity+ technology will use facial recognition as the primary biometric for identification, eliminating additional steps in the security checkpoint process.

This new technology means that the Clear process will be even faster. If you’re a Clear Plus member, you’ll be able to identify yourself with your face without having to provide additional biometric information like an iris scan or fingerprints, and will allow you to skip the Clear Pod station and head right to a preferred TSA lane.

While the new airport technology will begin rolling out over the next year, Clear Plus members can register now in preparation. You will receive an email with registration instructions prompting you to create a one-time password and verify your phone number. The next time you go to the airport, bring a valid photo ID and allow a few extra minutes for a Clear agent to help you complete the process. Once the process is complete, you can use the new technology wherever it is available.
