Valentine's Day is almost here, and if you're looking to book a romantic getaway, Airbnb has some inspiration for you, whether you're going solo, with your special someone or with a group of friends.
According to Airbnb, Valentine's Day is all about self-care this year. Trip searches for solo travelers increased more than 100 percent compared to last year. Romantic getaways for couples are up (by 50 percent), but so are V-Day escapes for groups of three or more travelers, with searches up by 70 percent.
Data from the platform has revealed that solo travelers are looking for sun and fun at the beach, pairs are looking for cozy cabins to get away from it all and larger groups are into hanging poolside to catch up on quality time this Valentine’s Day weekend.
Whatever your style for the special weekend, Airbnb has uncovered the most romantic properties based on guest reviews and some experiences to enhance your stay. Destinations as far as the UK, Australia, Brazil and Italy are making waves, but here are some romantic options right here in the U.S.
