A bit over a month ago, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy star Antoni Porowski conquered Instagram when hosting quarantine-themed cooking lessons on his profile. So successful was his endeavor that Netflix approached the food guru for a new cooking mini-series called Show Me What You're Working With.
The premise is a simple one: fans are asked to send over videos of the foods and groceries they have at home and Porowski will whip something up with those ingredients, obviously highlighting his process.
The series—available on Netflix's social media and YouTube channels—premiered last week. The first episode features married couple Brenda and James from Syracuse, New York, she a pharmacist and he a physician working in the ER. In a mere 12 minutes (the average length of each episode) Porowski shows them how to prepare a delicious-looking shakshuka.
Need Porowski's help? Don't we all. Send footage of the current state of your pantry and fridge to antoniwillcookforyou@gmail.com and hope to get selected.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the cook is set to take on Netflix once more in Girls & Boys, a rom-com loosely based on his dating experiences "as a sexually fluid man." We'll be sure to tune into that as well, of course.
