With a Disneyland ride and multiple screen and theater adaptations, J. M. Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan’ continues to stir imaginations worldwide over a century after its publication. And now: it can be part of our drinking lives, too. Neverland: An Immersive Peter Pan Inspired Bar is a traveling pop-up that’s flown (it can fly, it can fly, it can fly) from Pittsburgh to San Francisco, with other current locations in Brisbane and Vancouver.

In this themed experience, you can climb aboard the Jolly Roger, walk a perilous ‘bridge’ over the Blue Lagoon and hang out at the Lost Boys hideout. This pop-up is currently located at the Trademark Sports Bar in San Francisco (hit up the arcade before entering the immersive Neverland) and gives a Pixie dust-encrusted evening of exploring a huge map of Neverland, rearing back from the pirate skeleton, playing fun games for prizes and reaffirming your belief in fairies.

This 90-minute experience costs $45 and lets you Instagram your hiding from Captain Hook while indulging in a bespoke cocktail that captures Tinkerbell’s magic (hint: it’s green!). Whether you know your Peter Pan lore or not, you’ll appreciate the elaborate furnishings that make Neverland come alive. Bring a date and see how playful they are, or do team-building with co-workers. And if your crew is under 21, you can bring them to family-friendly sessions for mocktails.
