The 2025 NBA Playoffs are here, and the race for the trophy is officially on. Sixteen teams are in, and the top contenders—the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers—are going for the win.

Golden State and Orlando grabbed the number seven seeds in the Play-In, while Memphis and Miami snuck in at number 8. Opening weekend delivered right away as New York erased a huge deficit to stun Detroit, the Warriors pushed past Houston and OKC thrashed the Grizzlies 131-80, setting a record for the biggest blowout in a playoff opener. The remaining playoff games should bring just as much heat.

The Finals tip off June 5, and if they go the full stretch Game 7 will be June 22.
