This year's unprecedented travel boom is poised to continue in 2025 as more and more hotels across the country prepare to open their doors to trend-forward travelers. What’s more, dozens of new properties are slated to debut all across the map in the year ahead, meaning there are plenty of options for your next vacation. From lavish urban escapes in the heart of New York City (hello, Waldorf Astoria) to glamorous alpine retreats (we’re looking at you, White Elephant Aspen) and serene desert hideaways (cue Utah’s Black Desert Resort), the year ahead promises a fresh crop of properties that cater to every craving for luxury, adventure, and style. Here’s a sneak peek at the most anticipated U.S. hotels opening in 2025 to inspire your future travels.

Exciting new hotel openings for 2025

1. Fidelity Hotel | Cleveland, OH

Opening: Winter 2025

Situated in Cleveland’s Euclid Avenue Historic District, this boutique hotel is housed in a 103-year-old building. Its 97 rooms and suites seamlessly merge old and new with rich colors and patterns, brass, hardwood, marble floors and antique mirrors. Throughout the design-forward property, you’ll find bespoke furnishings and specially curated art that pays homage to the city and its rich history. Don’t miss the on-site bar and restaurant, The Club Room, which showcases local flavors in a trendy setting.

2. The Bellevue | Philadelphia, PA

Opening: Winter 2025

The beautiful Bellevue Hotel will officially open in the heart of downtown Philadelphia early next year. The property (formerly The Bellevue-Stratford Hotel), now part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection, was once among the city’s most elegant stays under its old name until it closed in 1976 and then again in 1986. The property has been completely reimagined under new management, offering 184 newly designed rooms—including 39 sumptuous suites—with design-forward touches like hardwood floors and high ceilings with ornate molding. There’s also a Sporting Club and a stylish rooftop restaurant, Pergola, serving contemporary American fare in an elegant setting with sweeping city views. While The Bellevue is in a soft opening phase right now, its grand opening won’t be until February 2025.

3. Hotel Willa, a Casetta Hotel | Taos, NM

Opening: Winter 2025

A former motel-turned-yet-to-open boutique hotel, Hotel Willa is centrally located near the Downtown Taos Historic District, overlooking the Couse pasture and Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It’s set to offer a contemporary take on traditional Southwestern style and adobe design with features like rich terracotta, local artwork, warm hues and arched doorways. Guests can spend their days here soaking in the pool and hot tub, relaxing by the fire pit, or spotting stars on the stargazing deck. Don’t miss the forthcoming bar and restaurant, Juliette. Helmed by husband-and-wife duo chef Johnny Ortiz-Concha and Maida Branch, the eatery will source local, seasonal ingredients, including produce from the onsite garden. This arty oasis will also boast a gallery and an artist in residency program.

4. Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley | Sunnyvale, CA

Opening: Spring 2025

Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley marks the U.S. debut of the Treehouse Hotels brand by SH Hotels & Resorts. The property will feature 111 eco-chic, natural light-filled rooms with eclectic furnishings, upcycled decor and tech-savvy features. The onsite eatery, Valley Goat, will be helmed by James Beard Award-winning chef and first-ever woman to win Top Chef, Stephanie Izzard. The seasonal Beer Garden will offer over 30 craft beers, creative cocktails, and biodynamic wine. When guests aren’t out and about exploring Silicon Valley, they can be found soaking in the outdoor pool and hot tub flanked by trees, playing lawn games or lounging by the fire pit.

5. OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark | Oklahoma City, OK

Often-overlooked Oklahoma City is getting a brand-new resort and indoor water park to lure in crowds near and far. Set to open this spring, OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark will boast an expansive 100,000-square-foot indoor water park with noteworthy features such as 15 slides and a 4.5-acre lagoon, which will be the country’s fourth-largest pool. Alternatively, stay dry and lounge by one of the luxe cabanas or lounge chairs set amidst a sandy beach (yes!). Additional highlights include all-suite accommodations—including multi-room and bunk options—a day spa, and 12 drinking and dining options.

6. Waldorf Astoria New York | New York, NY

Opening: Spring 2025

Arguably New York’s most iconic hotel, the Waldorf Astoria New York, will once again welcome well-heeled travelers in spring 2025 for the first time since 2017. Following a multi-year, multimillion-dollar renovation, this 375-room hotel is back and better than ever, offering spacious and elegant accommodations along with one of the city’s largest spas—clocking in at over 30,000 square feet. Additional improvements include a signature restaurant, a gorgeous grand ballroom and a classically elegant aesthetic that seamlessly blends old and new.

7. The Vineta Hotel | Palm Beach, FL

Opening: Spring 2025

Once it opens this coming spring, the swanky Vineta Hotel will be among Palm Beach’s poshest hotels. Plus, it’s located right off ritzy Worth Avenue, just steps away from chic boutiques and restaurants and mere minutes from the beach. Part of the Oetker Collection, this buzzy yet-to-debut haunt features an Instagram-worthy pale pink facade and incredible Mediterranean Revival architecture. The 41 rooms and common spaces are equally exquisite, including a luxurious lounge, outdoor courtyard, stunning bar and signature restaurant.

8. Black Desert Resort | St. George, UT

Opening: Spring 2025

Flanked by striking sandstone cliffs and black lava beds, this sprawling 600-plus acre resort will offer something for everyone: action-packed adventure, wellness and top-notch golf. Speaking of the latter, The Tom Weiskopf-designed course is sure to impress, and it’s slated to hold annual events on the PGA and LPGA Tours. As part of the first phase of opening, the property will boast nearly 800 sleek rooms and suites, seven dining venues and a 15,000-square-foot spa designed to serve as a sanctuary for R&R with dedicated wellness suites. There’s also a heated outdoor infinity pool and hot tub, along with easy access to over 200 acres of preserved land, complete with six miles of hiking trails. One thing to note: While Black Desert Resort is currently open for a preview phase, it won’t officially open until Q2 2025, once spa and wellness suites, pool, and more guest rooms are complete

9. Under Canvas Columbia River Gorge | White Salmon, WA

Opening: Summer 2025

Beloved glamping hotel brand Under Canvas will open its 13th location—and its first-ever in the Pacific Northwest—in White Salmon, Washington. Under Canvas Columbia River Gorge will span 120 scenic acres flanked by the aptly named Columbia River Gorge in the White Salmon River Valley, where you’ll find towering peaks, tranquil waterfalls and lush forests. After a day exploring the region, travelers can retreat to one of the safari-inspired glamping tents with private decks, plush bedding, fireplaces and ensuite bathrooms. The concierge team is also on hand to assist guests with booking bucket-list local experiences, including rafting, paddleboarding, fishing, hiking and mountain biking.

10. White Elephant Aspen | Aspen, CO

Opening: Late fall 2025

The White Elephant hotel brand is known for its luxury accommodations and swanky drinking and dining options and dreamy coastal locales, most notably in Nantucket and Palm Beach. But for the first time ever, the brand is making its way to the West Coast with the debut of White Elephant Aspen in late fall 2025. Throughout the 54-room property, expect contemporary decor and an overall rugged albeit sophisticated look and feel with patinated pitted brass, Roman clay-washed walls, leather-detailed upholstery and a color palette of rusts, light wood, warm whites and dark charcoals. In the winter season, there will be ski lockers and a private shuttle to the slopes, while in the warmer months, guests can swim in the pool or zip around town on complimentary bikes. House car service, outdoor hot tubs, and hip artwork are all incredible bonuses.
