The second season of the show about everyone's favorite "mole woman" is set to be just as spit-take hilarious as the original.
How do we know? We were at a special sneak peek of the first two episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2, held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, just for Kimmy Schmidt super fans! After the screening, Refinery29 held a special QA with stars Carol Kane (Lillian Kaushtupper) and Titus Burgess (Titus Andromedon) where they gave us fans the scoop on what's to come this season. Be warned—and freakin' excited—minor spoilers below!
Expect flash backs!
There will be lots of flash backs, including a look into Lillian's sordid past.
Expect love...and not just for Kimmy.
We're introduced to major love interests for both Lillian and Titus! We'll get to see a depth to Titus's character not seen before with the blossoming of his new romance.
Expect original songs!
There are also lots of musical numbers headed our way (with a full musical number between Lillian and a character played by Fred Armisen at the end of episode one). Carol and Titus were particularly excited to mention a special duet we'll be hearing between their characters.
Expect big-name guest stars!
Fans can expect a myriad of other guest stars coming our way for season two, including Jeff Goldblum, Amy Sedaris and none other than show co-creator Tina Fey in a very "Kimmy-related" role! Titus Burgess even had a special something to add...
