Before even premiering, the much-anticipated revival of Will & Grace on NBC got the green light for a season two, according to Entertainment Weekly. The network just announced the news at the show's press conference in Beverly Hills.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt also revealed that first season will feature a total of 16 episodes (as opposed to the 12 previously announced) while the second one will include a total of 13.

The David Kohan and Max Mutchnick rebooted show will premiere on September 28 and will completely ignore the series finale. A refresher: The series ended back in 2006 with a fight between Will and Grace, who then proceeded not to talk for several years, raising separate families, eventually reconciling but then going their separate ways again... Until running into each other while moving their kids into the same college. Said kids eventually, of course, got married.

Expect Harry Connick Jr. to make an appearance in the revival as well.
