While her father's been busy running the country and her sister's been grooving out at Lollapalooza, Sasha Obama has been hard at work at a summer job on Martha's Vineyard. The First Daughter scored a gig at the takeout window at Nancy's, a seafood restaurant on the Massachusetts island, with her secret service detail in tow.
According to the Boston Herald, the 15-year-old has been going by her full name, Natasha, and has been doing restaurant prep, bussing tables and taking orders at the restaurant. It's probably safe to assume that unruly customers are thinking twice before giving her a hard time, her father being the most powerful person on Earth and all. The Obamas are reportedly friends with the owners of the restaurant, which explains how she was able to lock down the job.
Sasha is acting a bit more responsibly than her father during his formative years—he spent a good deal of time smoking that sweet, sweet cheebah with his high school friends who dubbed themselves the "Choom Gang."
In any case, the job should give Sasha some solid perspective on the world—her off days are spent with Ryan Reynolds at lavish state dinners.
