The second official trailer for Paul Feig's all-lady Ghostbusters movie has landed and while it may not convince this writer to pony up and buy a ticket, it's a good deal more promising than the first trailer—the most unliked trailer in YouTube's history.
The tone is (a touch) darker, and the comedy less forced—we're thinking Leslie "I-don't-know-if-it's-a-race-thing-or-a-lady-thing" Jones is going to steal this show.
A few new things we learn from the trailer:
Chris Hemsworth looks to be playing an Aussie (that's definitely his natural accent there); and he looks like he may become one of the film's primary villains, once possessed?
There will be cameos, including in this trailer, Al Roker.
Some favorite ghosts of Ghostbusters past will be returning, including Slimer and... the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!
Ghostbusters is in theaters July 15.
