Since Chance the Rapper released his new album Coloring Book last month to a great deal of praise, music fans across the country have wondered when the artist would go on tour. The Chicago-based artist answered that question this morning, sending out an Instagram post detailing the American dates to his "Magnificent Coloring World Tour" (international dates are coming soon).
The tour kicks off in San Diego on September 15 at the CalCoast Credit Union Open Air Theatre. He's set to play Los Angeles' Greek Theatre two days later, a show in Chicago (at a venue to be determined) sometime between September 21 and 25 and at the inaugural Meadows Music and Arts Festival at Citi Field in New York (which Kanye West his headlining) on October 2.
The tour will include a lineup of "special guests," and if the featuring artists on Coloring Book are an indicator, those could include the likes of Future, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne and Saba.
Tickets went on pre-sale this morning for Citi Bank customers, which will continue through Friday evening at 10pm. If you don't have a Citi credit or debit card, don't sweat it—tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday morning at 10am ET.
