Amazon Prime Day, aka 'July's Black Friday,' has arrived

Amazon Prime, the service that’s given millions of Americans the ability to drunkenly buy a Three Wolf Moon shirt with free two-day shipping, is dropping some deals today.

Tuesday marks “Amazon Prime Day,” offering deals to the service’s subscribers that rival those of Black Friday. It’s the second year that the web giant has held the promotional “holiday,” and the bargains they’re offering are pretty damn sweet. Shoppers can score an Xbox One console bundle for a mere $299 (down from the usual $468), a Blue-ray of Entourage the movie (presumably to throw at a mortal enemy) for just $9.99 and even a six-pack of deodorant for $11.26 (which you’ll definitely need, because these deals are hot).

If you want to save a load of money on a bunch of things that you don’t really need, then you should drop everything you’re doing and start clicking away right now.

Don’t have an Amazon Prime account, but still want to get in on all of the money-saving fun? You can sign up for a free 30-day trial with the service to get your fix. Just be sure to cancel it before the month runs out, or else you’ll be charged $100 membership fee for the year (which actually isn't that bad).

So if you’re one of those true blue Americans who firmly believe in capitalism, materialism, technology, widespread data collection, cheap labor or just that Entourage is the greatest movie of all time, Amazon Prime Day should bring tears to your eyes.
