Who doesn't love their own birthday? It's the one day of the year when you can act like a narcissistic jerk without any repercussions. Ideally, you'll be showered with gifts and love from everyone in your life—you deserve it. But did you know you can also get some freebies from some national chains? The catch: you pretty much always have to sign up for a stupid email list, but free stuff is worth an extra note in your inbox.

Here are the chains that want to wish you a happy birthday:

Starbucks will give you a free drink on your birthday (so long as you've signed up for Starbucks Rewards account). Just give the barista the card associated with your account, and relish in some well-deserved caffeine.

Sephora will hook you up with some makeup during your entire birthday month. Set up an account on their site, and you'll be entitled to a Fresh or Marc Jacobs beauty gift.

Baskin Robbins will treat you to a free scoop of ice cream on your birthday so long as you sign up for their email list.

DSW will give you $5 off a pair of fresh kicks on your birthday if you sign up for their rewards program.

Coldstone Creamery locations will give you a buy-one get-one-free deal on the day of your birth if you sign up for their "eClub."

P.F. Changs will give you a free dessert or app to pair with your incredibly tacky birthday dinner at the chain, so long as you sign up for their email list.

Qdoba will give you a free "birthday gift" if you sign up for their rewards program (we're assuming it's just a burrito bowl made entirely of queso).

Sonic Drive-In will give you a "free surprise" on your birthday if you sign up for their Birthday Club, because who doesn't want to celebrate another year by eating soggy fries and a disappointing sandwich?

Auntie Anne's gives customers who download their app a free pretzel on their birthday, which could come in handy if you're traveling through an airport for your annual celebration.

Cinnabon will give members of "Club Cinnabon" a "special gift" on their birthday. The gift probably isn't insulin, but it should be.

Einstein bagels doles out a free egg sandwich with any purchase for members of the "Schmear Society" on their birthday.

Pinkberry celebrates its Loyalty members' big day by giving them free yogurt, and you should take advantage by loading that puppy up with every topping imaginable.
