More than half a year after he automatically became King following the death of Elizabeth II, the coronation of Charles III and his wife Camilla will finally take place this weekend, on Saturday May 6, 2023. It’s set to be a pretty explosive event – and not just because we get an extra bank holiday (plus later-than-usual pub opening hours). For starters, there’s the coronation ceremony itself, which will include a grand procession and traditional religious service, but there’s also a star-studded concert at Windsor Castle on the cards. It’s fair to say it’s going to be a big weekend. So, whether you’re already camped out on Pall Mall or just want to tune in casually from home, here’s everything you need to know to keep up to date with the coronation (or as many of us like to call it, the ‘Corrie Naish’).
