But it *isn’t* ridiculously expensive

Banks have finally caught up with the rest of us and realised that the whole ‘money’ situation at the moment isn’t great, and the UK is, as of today (Feb 15) officially in a recession. Basically, it’s a tough time, and we could all do with some relaxation at a decent price – and spa days are less chilled out when you had to sell your spleen to afford them.

If you’re looking for an affordable night away this year, look no further than north Wales, where a brand-new holiday park will be opening in April.

Located near the beachside town of Dyserth, The Marion Resort and Spa is the most recent project from Lyons, which owns 20 different holiday parks throughout Wales. Marion will contain 80 luxury cabins, including some with exclusive hot tub use, and all guests will have access to the resort’s full range of amenities including a swimming pool with sauna and steam room, as well as a 24 hour gym. There’s also going to be multiple dining options, all with gorgeous views of the rolling Welsh countryside.

The best bit? Cabins start at just £89 a night. That’s cheaper than a weekend night at most Travelodges. Pretty good value for money, eh?

Enough talking: here’s a glimpse into what your stay could look like.
