Most of us aren’t in the market for luxury hotels. Whether it’s a penthouse in a skyscraper or a villa in the Med, loads of those sort of places cost our entire rent per night (and more). But still, they’re nice to look at, eh?
If you’re up for some pretty luxury hotels to gawp at, you’ve come to the right place. Luxury Travel Intelligence (LTI) has revealed its list of the best new luxury hotels – and no less than three British establishments made the cut.
And if anyone’s gonna know about the more luxe stuff in life, it’s LTI. A members-only org, LTI covers stuff like hotels, restaurants, spas and nightlife.
So which UK hotels made LTI’s prestigious list? Well, placing highest was Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire. Coming sixth overall, the Oxfordshire country club was commended for its choice of accommodation and upcoming bathhouse and spa complex.
Also featuring in the ranking was Raffles at The OWO in London, which occupies the historic Old War Office and is a new outpost of a globally-revered luxury chain. Raffles OWO came eighth.
The final UK establishment to feature in LTI’s top 15 was The Peninsula, also in London. Coming 15th, the Peninsula was praised for ‘standing out from the crowd’.
Elsewhere in the list, Rome’s Bulgari came first, 1 Place Vendôme in Paris came second and Tokyo’s Bulgari came third. You can check out the list in full here.
Here’s an example of what a suite at Estelle Manor looks like.
