On the hunt for a new home? Forget boring bungalows and soulless new-builds and get your own castle instead. The Gazebo Tower in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, has just hit the market and could be yours for £390,000.

Technically, the Grade II-listed building isn’t really a castle but a ‘mock Gothic tower’. It was built in 1833 alongside Ross-on-Wye’s mock Gothic walls, originally built as a viewing point for the town. So, it might not be huge, but you can bet that it has some absolutely stunning views over the Wye Valley.

Inside, you’ve got three circular floors – the ground floor is the kitchen, first floor is the sitting room and third floor is the bedroom with an en-suite. In contrast to the Gothic exterior, the decor is actually pretty bright and modern.

The lucky new owners will also get to take a spiral staircase up to a wooden terrace, offering ‘unparalleled views of the town, the River Wye and the rolling Herefordshire countryside’.

Savills calls the tower ‘utterly unique’ and a ‘real one off’. Take a look at these pics to see for yourself:
