Inflation’s soaring, the cost-of-living crisis is dragging on, alcohol duty rates just got much higher and bills simply ain’t going down. But we still want pints. So you know what that calls for? That’s right, we’re talking about Wetherspoons.

All Wetherspoons are cheap, but some are cheaper than others. And if you were wondering which ‘Spoons are cheaper than others, we have just the thing. The good people over at Pantry and Larder have collected data on over 300,000 price points from Wetherspoons across the UK and put them each one on a marvellous interactive map.

Featuring every drink and every Wetherspoons in the country, the map obviously features bucketfuls of data. The aim is that you can select your go-to order from the search bar and see how much it would cost you in different pubs.

The cheapest Wetherspoons (on average) in the UK are apparently The David Macbeth Moir in East Lothian and The Bourtree in Hawick. On the flip side, the most expensive ‘Spoons are The Atrium and the NEC Wetherspoons in Birmingham, followed by The Moon Under Water in Westminster.

Unsurprisingly, metropolitan cities like London, Birmingham and even Southampton put a higher price tag on pints. Just a few miles outside of the city centre, a pint becomes relatively cheaper. For example, you can be sipping a pint of Carling in central London for £5.29, and two miles away a pint in Camden or Holloway costs just £2.88. That’s a whopping 46 percent cheaper!

If you’re interested in finding out the best place to get your bev of choice for cheap (and, to be honest, why wouldn’t you be?), you can take a peek at the interactive map for yourself here.
