Have you ever wondered what our iconic landmarks may look like in 2100? Well, seeing how climate change has already impacted the UK (and the world) with recent extreme weather conditions – there’s a chance that it won’t look very pretty at all.
To give us an idea of how the country might look like thanks to climate change, The Eco Experts fed global warming data into AI platform Midjourney, which then produced images visualising what our landscapes across the UK could look like if we don’t take action to limit carbon emissions.
From smog-enveloped Manchester to a flooded Tower of London, be warned that these images are pretty bleak. We do still have time to take affirmative action to prevent catastrophe – but if we remain stuck in our ways and do nothing, this is what our country may look like by 2100.
