Do you like to bust some sick moves? Can you tear up the dancefloor like a pro? Are you able to discuss dancing without sounding like someone’s gran? We have some news you might be interested in.

Red Bull, energy drink company and inventors of the corporate side hustle, is hosting the UK finals of its annual street dancing contest, ‘Red Bull Dance Your Style’, next month.

The final will be held in Manchester on July 27, and if you reckon you’ve got what it takes you can audition in London on July 13. You can sign up for that here.

Red Bull welcomes dancers in a variety of styles including Hip Hop, Afro Dance, Locking, Voguing, Krumping, and more, many of which also sound vaguely like made up fantasy towns. Those who get through the heat in London will join competitors from across the nation who qualified in Edinburgh, Manchester, and Swindon earlier this year.

One dancer will be crowned UK champion in Manchester this July, and that person will win what we believe the kids call ‘street cred’, and they’ll also be invited to represent Great Britain in the worldwide grand-finals in Mumbai in November.

If you’re not a talent yourself but still think this all sounds like a lot of fun, you can buy tickets to watch the UK final here. It’s a perfect day out for anyone who loves dance or feeling powerful, as the audience gets the final say over who wins and who goes home empty handed. When else will the fate of sixteen of the country’s best breakers be in your hands? You can't say it isn't a unique opportunity.

Good luck, movers and shakers. We hope that your head is extra spinny when you touch ground in Manny.
