Legend has it there is one song so catchy, so beloved by the British people that it basically hasn’t left the charts in more than two decades. ‘Mr Brightside’ is the third-best selling song in British history, and the next few days will be Mancunians’ chance to hear it live.

The Killers may hail from the deserts of Nevada, but their music is so ubiquitous in the UK that it’s hard to believe they’re not actually from here. They’re currently in the midst of a massive four-night run at Manchester’s (now-finished) Co-op Live arena before heading to Glasgow and London for a total of nearly two weeks headlining UK stadiums.

The Rebel Diamonds tour (which you can find out more about here) is set to be a celebration of the best of the best from the band, taking you through their greatest hits from 2004 to today. Expect lots of dancing, lots of nostalgia, and lots of ‘oh, I know this one’ from your mate who didn’t know they knew as many Killers songs as they do.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Killers’ four nights in Manchester, from supports and set times to ticket availability.

When are the Killers playing the Co-Op Live?

The lads are headlining four nights in Manchester on June 19, 20, 21 and 22.

After this they’ll move onto Glasgow’s Hydro for three shows before jetting back down south for several nights at London’s O2 arena – they’re basically setting up a mini-residency in every city you go to. You can take the boy out of Vegas...

What time do doors open?

Doors open at 6.30pm each evening, but the venue recommends you ‘familiarise yourself with Co-op Live’s location and facilities, and allow plenty of time to travel’ before embarking on your journey to the brand-new arena.

If you’re concerned about getting there, have a look at the official travel guidance on the building's website, which you can view here

What time will the Killers come on stage?

Brandon and co will take to the stage at 9pm. Curfew for the arena is 11pm, so there’s a good two hours of hits to be enjoyed.

Who’s supporting the Killers?

Scottish indie-rockers Travis, who are embarking on their own arena tour later this year, will be supporting the boys. They’ll be onstage from 8pm each evening.

Has the setlist been released?

The band like to keep things fresh, so the setlist tends to change night by night. They changed things around each of the three nights that they were in Dublin, so it’s pretty likely that they’ll do the same in Manchester. Below is what the Killers played on their last show in Dublin, but it probably won’t be exactly what is played in Manny.

  • Mr. Brightside
  • Spaceman
  • Shot at the Night
  • Run for Cover
  • Jenny Was a Friend of Mine
  • Quiet Town
  • Somebody Told Me
  • Human
  • boy
  • Here With Me
  • Miss Atomic Bomb
  • A Dustland Fairytale
  • Runaways
  • Read My Mind
  • Smile Like You Mean It
  • My Own Soul's Warning
  • When You Were Young
  • Lightning Fields
  • All These Things That I've Done
  • Battle Born

What are reviews saying?

Predictably, reviews have been staggeringly positive. In a four-star Guardian review, Dave Simpson said of the first gig on June 18: ‘this show has two gears: epic and even more epic’.

Another four-star review in the i saw Craig McLean praise the band as ‘nigh impeccable’, while the Manchester Evening News said the ‘songs still sound timeless’.

Can you still get tickets?

For tonight's show, you’ll have to phone up the box office to ask if there are any tickets left, as in this case Ticketmaster is not allowing purchases less than 24 hours before the show.

There are a limited number of resale tickets for the next three nights still available on Ticketmaster which you can get here
