Which days will each performer be headlining?
Arctic Monkeys will headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday, Guns N’ Roses on Saturday and Elton John on Sunday.
Why is this year’s festival lineup controversial?
This announcement is likely to ruffle a few feathers because of the all-white, all-male headliners.
Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis said that festivals are struggling with a dearth of viable female headliners owing to an industry ‘pipeline’ problem, and that Guns N’ Roses were booked when a previously confirmed female headliner pulled out because she ‘changed’ her touring plans.
