Is it finally coming home? It really could be. After a nearly 60-year-long dry spell for the England men’s football team, the boys are through to their second European Championships final in a row. This Sunday, they’ll meet Spain in Berlin and maybe, hopefully, if we dare to dream, take home a major tournament trophy.

Naturally, you’ll want to make the most of this moment and find somewhere truly excellent to watch the match. Luckily, we’ve done our research to reveal the best places in the whole country to savour the moment, wherever you are.

In no particular order, here’s five of the best places to watch the game with fellow fans.

Euro 2024 fan zones in England

Manchester

In Manchester you want to head to the Progress Centre where 4 The Fans is hosting a watch party with huge screens, just under 5,000 people, and even pyrotechnics for if and when England manage to score.

Tickets start at just £7 but they’re selling quickly, so grab yours here.

If that doesn’t sound like your thing, try the ‘Festival of Football’ that’s currently going on at Freight Island. They’ve not only got the game on, but they’ll have DJs and drinks for afterwards too. There’s also a ‘Road to Victory’ event at the AO Arena, with some tickets available here.

Grab your tickets for that here.

London

Unsurprisingly, you’ve got loads of options in London, but perhaps the biggest of them all is the O2 Arena, where the Mayor of London has announced the Euros final will be shown. 15,000 people will get to enjoy the atmosphere. And the best part? Tickets are completely free.

Tickets will be allocated by ballot, and you have until 9am tomorrow (Friday July 12) to sign yourself up for that here.

If you’re unlucky, don’t feel too down. There are countless events happening across the capital to mark the occasion, like Boxpark at Wembley, Clapham Grand, or just down your local. You can find a full list of the best places to watch the Euros in London here, and these definitely still have seats

Bristol

In 2022, the Bristol & Bath Science Park held a very successful fanzone during the World Cup. Now it’s back with all the same vibes and drinks, but a much higher chance of us actually winning the thing.

Book your tickets here for £10.

Brighton

The best place to watch football is in a place purpose built for football fans. Brighton seems to know this well, as you can head to the Amex, the city’s biggest stadium, to watch the Spain vs England game free of charge.

You can grab your tickets here before they sell out.

Birmingham

The Distillery, one of Birmingham’s biggest canal-side pubs, will be playing host to a huge screening this Sunday. They’ll have huge outdoor screens and lots of beer. You don’t need to pay to book a table, but it’s worth doing anyway just to make sure you get a seat.

Book your table here.

You could also watch the match at Luna Springs, where you’ll join more than 1,000 other fans doing the exact same thing. Tickets for that can be purchased here.

Newcastle

Geordies know how to party. If you’ll be in Newcastle this Sunday, head to the official fanzone to join 2,000 as they celebrate (or commiserate) the result.

Buy your tickets here.

You could also try out HWKRLAND, a street food market underneath Gateshead bridge. It’ll have big TVs and some great food in case you get peckish.

Find out more on the website here.

Liverpool

Gravity Max will be hosting a mega viewing party this weekend, even encouraging you to ‘make a day of it’, munching on their snacks and even pouring your own pint. What’s not to love?

Book your tickets here.
