Sam Fender fans, this is the news you’ve been waiting for. Today (October 18) the star has announced a huge number of tour dates for later this year – including several in the UK. The singer and songwriter best known for hits like ‘Seventeen Going Under’, ‘Hypersonic Missiles’ and ‘Will We Talk?’ has been teasing a tour for days with billboards at major UK arenas – and now it’s finally been officially announced.
The People Watching tour will be Fender’s first UK jaunt since 2022 (though he played Reading and Leeds in 2023), and it’ll see him play massive arena shows in cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham and, of course, his beloved Newcastle. He’ll then jet off to Europe for gigs in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and more.
Better yet, Fender is following Coldplay’s lead and using this tour to support the UK’s independent venues. Apparently £1 from each ticket sold will go to the Music Venues Trust and support grassroots music venues.
