Christmas markets are a joyous part of the festive season, but they’re not always a cheap day out. Some markets in the UK will see you have to pay for entry, then pay way above the odds for every mulled wine, fairground ride and box of street food.
So, it’s good to know how much you could be paying for your Christmas fun ahead of time. Lucky for you, the Sun did some digging to find out which of the UK’s Christmas markets serve the most expensive (and cheapest) pints of beer. And there’s one pint that’ll set back you back £7.75.
Here’s where you’ll find the naughtiest and nicest priced pints at this year’s Christmas markets.
Where is the cheapest Christmas market for a pint?
According to the Sun, you can find the UK’s cheapest festive pint at Glasgow’s Christmas Market for £5.
Where is the most expensive Christmas market?
When it comes to pints, Winter Wonderland in London is the most spenny. Its most expensive beer comes in at £7.75 a pint, while its cheapest is a pint of Pravha for £6.85.
How much are Christmas market pints everywhere else?
The Sun found that Brighton Xmas market had the next most affordable pint, at £5.50, followed by Bristol, Exeter, Newcastle and Manchester, where the cheapest you can get is £6.
At the other end of the scale, the most expensive pints after London are apparently in Southampton and (even though it also has the cheapest) Glasgow.
