Feeling hungry? Fast-food chain Popeyes is bringing its fried chicken to three more sites as it continues its expansion in the UK. These new openings have put the brand on track to achieve its aim of opening 20 stores in the UK this year, which has come off the back of its successful UK debut launch in London’s Stratford Westfield in 2021.
Famous for its Louisiana-style chicken, the American chain will soon be welcoming customers at stores in Richmond, Woolwich and Kilburn in London. The opening date for the Richmond site is May 4 and you’ll only have to travel 200 metres from Richmond train station to get your fried chicken fix.
Popeyes has left us hanging with the opening dates for the Kilburn and Woolwich stores but has said that they’ll be ‘opening soon’.
Popular favourites on the menu include the classic fried chicken sandwich which comes marinated in their signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices as well as the range of tenders and hot wings.
If you fancy testing out their chicken sandwich, you can get one for free on the opening day in Richmond. But you’ll have to be quick – the offer of a free chicken sando and some Popeyes merch will only be available for the first 25 customers through the doors on May 4.
