It feels like it was only yesterday that we were all (virtually) queued up, credit cards at the ready and primed to snap up tickets to Oasis’ highly anticipated 2025 reunion tour of the UK. Whether you were one of the lucky ones that got tickets in the first round or managed to get into the extra shows, no doubt you’ve been waiting with bated breath for the Gallagher brothers to announce the tour supports.

Today (October 16) Noel and Liam have revealed exactly who’ll be warming up the crowd for their 2025 shows – and, excitingly, the support slots are both also ‘90s legends.

Two support acts have been announced for Oasis Live 2025 and they are, drumroll please… Richard Ashcroft and Cast

Many readers will no doubt know Ashcroft as lead singer of The Verve, while jangly Britpop band Cast had their fair share of hits in the 90s. At the Oasis shows, Cast are likely to be the first to line up, followed by Ashcroft.

Keen followers of Liam Gallagher’s X/Twitter account won’t be too surprised by the news. In response to a post about Ashcroft potentially supporting the whole tour, LG replied it would be ‘BIBLICAL’, while he also hinted getting Cast in, too.

Since announcing the UK reunion shows, Oasis have since revealed plans for a global reunion tour including dates in the USA and Australia. The only other confirmed supports are Cage the Elephant, who’ll be on the bill in the US.
