Do you have £4.75 million burning a hole in your pocket? If so then you could buy this spectacular mansion, which belongs to the Duke of Gloucester, the first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.
Richard Gloucester is selling Barnwell Manor, a Grade II-listed mansion near Northampton with a whopping 40 rooms, including eight bedrooms, four reception rooms and six bathrooms. The property also has 2,500 acres of land.
Most interestingly, the Tudor building features parts of the thirteenth-century Barnwell Castle, including a gatehouse with stone walls and twin round towers.
The manor was the home to the Duke And Duchess Of Gloucester and their children until 1995 when they had to move out due to the high costs of staying there. They then moved to Kensington Palace.
