Thought about moving away recently? You’re not the only one. If you’re looking to mix things up a bit, you might be interested in going a little left-field and buying this entire Welsh campsite that comes with its own UFO. Sounds good, right?

This nuts campsite in Pembrokeshire features two converted planes, a submarine and a speedboat – as well as a three-storey period property. The site, named Apple Camping, was designed by Toby Rhys-Davies, and has featured on everything from Channel 4’s ‘Four in a Bed’ to ‘My Unique B&B’ on the BBC. It’s also been in a load of music videos.

Originally, Rhys-Davies was going to build a set of glamping pods at Norchard Farmhouse, before realising that there’s a whole load of people out there who want something a little more niche.

‘I really wanted south Pembrokeshire to have something a little bit more alternative,’ Rhys-Davies said. ‘I thought, what is to stop us repurposing things like aeroplanes and things that people might want to stay in? That’s been the case ever since.’

He went shopping and found 1970s private jet and an Etihad Airways airbus, before grabbing an igloo and a Pacman-inspired yellow unit for guests to stay in. The UFO was built exclusively for the campsite.

Apple Camping and its detached home is on the market with a guide price of £1,250,000, available from estate agents Fox Grant in Salisbury.

ICYMI: You can stay at a spooky abandoned church that’s straight out of a horror movie.

Plus: This iconic art gallery in Edinburgh has been forced to shut.
