If you’re a fan of big-name pop artists, right now it feels more expensive than ever to see those musicians live. These days it’s pretty normal for big-ticket gigs to cost upwards of £100 – and that’s on general release. Resale prices can be even more eye-watering.
Next week, however, you’ll have the chance to buy tickets to some huge gigs for a fraction of the usual price. As part of Concert Week 2024, LiveNation is offering 40,000 cut-price tickets to some of the year’s biggest shows – starting from just £25.
So, who’s on the bill? Everyone from big current pop stars like Doja Cat, Charli XCX and James Arthur are on there, as are established names like Grace Jones, New Order, Shania Twain and Nile Rodgers. Air, Avril Lavigne, Craig David, Idles, Katherine Jenkins, Loyle Carner, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paloma Faith… a frankly ridiculous number of huge names are taking part.
This is the first time that LiveNation has extended Music Week promotions to the UK (it’s been running over in the US for a decade). There’ll be offers, promotions and competitions all next week (May 6-11), though the cheap tickets are only available for 24 hours from noon on May 9 to noon on May 10.
You can find the full line-up of artists and venues with discounted tickets on the LiveNation website here.
