Scouse funny man John Bishop has been in the business almost 25 years. It’s a major milestone and to celebrate, the comedian will be hitting the road next year.

Fittingly titled 25, the tour will include a stop at the intimate Manchester venue Frog and Bucket that started it all. John attended an open mic night there in 2000. He decided to take the stage and ended up having his first ever comedy gig. The rest is history.

To top it off, after the chaos of Oasis ticket pricing, John has decided to make all of the tickets to these shows the exact same, affordable price. So, here’s how you can join him in celebrating 25 years in comedy next year.

What’s been the reaction so far?

Announcing the tour, John said: ‘I can’t believe that next year it will be 25 years since I first performed at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester.

‘It’s been a rollercoaster! And I can’t thank the fans enough who have supported me all the way. I wanted to mark the anniversary with a brand-new tour and do something to say thank you.’

On social media, fans thanked the comedian for his inclusive ticket prices. One wrote ‘Well done for not going down the easy route of ripping fans off, sensible pricing is the way forward’ and another commented ‘what a wonderful move on the pricing, thank you’.
