Singing and dancing for over three hours in front of tens of thousands of screaming people, for three nights in a row, has got to be exhausting. And with dozens more shows to go on her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift needs her beauty sleep.
There’s been lots of speculation over where Tay is staying during her time here in the UK. She’s reportedly booked a £3.3 million cottage in the Cotswolds to get some rest and recuperation and is expected to stay in some of the most luxurious five-star hotels in each city she visits.
With her Edinburgh run of shows just finished, rumour has it that Taylor resided in the historic Caledonian Hotel in the city centre. Fans spotted heightened security and convoys outside the hotel over the weekend.

The grand venue is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton and sits within view of the spectacular Edinburgh Castle. It’s likely Taylor booked into one of its grand suites (we’d expect nothing less), which each feature a traditional fireplace, a living room, ornate high ceilings and a massive ensuite bathroom. The Alexander Graham Bell Suite is one of the hotel’s most lavish rooms, costing up to £2,300 a night.
Established in 1903, the Caledonian has hosted loads of other big names including Charlie Chaplin, Judy Garland, Louis Armstrong and Elizabeth Taylor. It also features two swanky award-winning restaurants, an afternoon tearoom, a cocktail bar , a swimming pool and a spa. You can find our review of the establishment here.
