Since the news of the Queen’s death, many have flocked to Buckingham Palace and other royal sites to pay their respects. Flowers have been laid at palaces, parks and other public areas to pay tribute to the country’s longest-reigning monarch.
Some have also left Paddington bears and Marmalade sandwiches in reference to the sketch she did with the animated bear during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations. But since food items will rot quickly and attract rats, people have been warned to not leave them.
