Halloween fell on a Thursday this year, which is good news considering Thursday is the new Friday. Central London was buzzing – and not just with office workers drinking on pavements outside pubs. There were devils in the back of rickshaws, vampires in McDonald’s, little red riding hood on the tube and all sorts of other spooks dotting the streets of Soho on the scariest night of the year.

Photographer Imogen Forte headed out into the night to capture the chaos. If you’re keen to head to some last minute spooky parties this weekend, we have some reccs for that – but for now, feast your eyes on these images of the best-dressed Londoners this Halloween
