It’s been a big year for the music your dad played in the car when you were a kid, or depending on who you are, for the music you played your kids in the car when they were growing up. With AC/DC and Pearl Jam both set to return to the UK for massive stadium tours, Kings of Leon are almost late to the party. Almost.
The Nashville natives will be headlining nine shows across Britain and Ireland this year for their ‘Can We Please Have Fun’ tour. If you’re yet to see the brothers (and cousin) and are in the market for tickets, here’s everything you need to know.

When are Kings of Leon going on their UK tour in 2024?
The boys will hit the UK this summer, starting on June 20. They’re doing nine nights between then and July 10, with both June 28 and 29 empty for a potential appearance at Worthy Farm, although that can’t be confirmed until the line-up is revealed later this spring. Keep an eye out!
Where are the Kings of Leon going on their UK tour?
The exact locations, including venues, of the tour are:
June 20: Leeds, First Direct Arena
June 22: Birmingham, Utilita Arena
June 30: London, Hyde Park BST Festival
July 2: Glasgow, OVO Hydro
July 6: Dublin, Marlay Park
July 8: Nottingham, Motorpoint Arena
July 10: Manchester, Co-op Live
They are also playing at the F1 British Grand Prix opening concert. Details and tickets for that can be found on the Silverstone website.
How do I get tickets to the Kings of Leon tour?
Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 1) from 9am, with the exception of the Silverstone and Hyde Park dates. You don’t need to be signed up but you do need to be logged into Ticketmaster, and there’s a limit of 6 tickets per customer.
If you want to know how to bag entry to Hyde Park, have a read of our guide to Kings of Leon at BST here.
How much will tickets cost?
Prices will range from £52 to £107 for seated tickets, while standing ones will be £79. VIP tickets are also available, but those will set you back £189.
Any news on presale?
Unfortunately, it’s a little late for that – two presales were available, but both have now passed. The first presale was on LiveNation and began on February 27 at 10am, while the second was for KoL fans who preordered the band’s new album before 5pm on Feb 27. The second presale went live this morning (February 28) at 10am.
What’s been said about the ‘Can We Please Have Fun’ tour so far?
Not too much is currently known about the tour, and the album of the same name doesn’t come out until May 10. That being said, its lead single ‘Mustang’ is available to listen to right now. Although little has been revealed thus far we can confidently predict that yes, the band will play ‘Sex on Fire’.
