The Euros, the Olympics, a general election – British summer 2024 is going to be a biggun. And the places that will get us through all of it? Why, the UK’s trusty pubs of course.
From swanky gastropubs to beaut beer gardens, Britain’s boozers are unmatched. With the sun finally coming out and a bunch of unmissable events to catch on pub screens, there’s no better time than now to discover which are the best of the best.
That’s where the Great British Pub Awards come in. Each year, the awards whittle down hundreds of entrants down to six finalists across 16 categories, before crowing the winners in an official ceremony.
For foodies, there’s the best pub for food category; for footy fans there’s the best pub for watching sport and for the eco-conscious punters there's a prize for the best sustainable pub. The winning pubs will be announced in Manchester on September 17. While you wait to see who triumphs 2024, you can check out all of last year’s winners here and find out more about the London finalists here.
