Glastonbury is arguably the best festival in the country and, dare we say, the world. So, of course there are millions of people each and every year who want to experience its magic for themselves. Alas, there’s only capacity for around 200,000 music fans at Worthy Farm and competition for tickets is huge.

Now that ticket sale dates have been announced, it’s time to get strategising. The first and most important rule of getting to Glastonbury 2025? Register!

As any seasoned Glasto-goer knows, you’ve got to have registered for tickets before you attempt to buy them. The good news is that it’s the easiest part of the whole process and only takes a few short minutes. Here’s what you need to know.

When is Glastonbury 2025?

Glasto 2025 will be happening from June 25 to June 29.

How to register for tickets

What about the registration deadline?

Breathe, there’s still time. You’ve got until 5pm GMT on November 11.

However, it’s advised that fans sign up well in advance of the deadline, as registration is temporarily suspended before the main ticket sale period.

When do tickets go on sale?

Get it in your diary! Coach ticket packages will go on sale on Thursday, November 14, at 6pm GMT and general admission will go on sale on Sunday, November 17, 9am GMT.

If you’re unsuccessful the first time round, there’ll be another chance in April.

And how much do they cost?

Ticket prices have increased slightly from last year. For 2025, they’ll cost £373.50 each plus a £5 booking fee. You don’t have to pay it all at once, though.

On the day of purchase, you’ll have to pay a deposit of £75 per person (max six people). Then, you have until the first week of April to pay the remaining balance.

Any news on the lineup?

It’s far too early for anyone to be confirmed for Glastonbury 2025, but there’s plenty of speculation around who could be headlining. The Rolling Stones, Green Day, Olivia Rodrigo, Oasis, Rihanna and AC/DC are some of the names that have been thrown around so far.

With stellar performances from Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA and Shania Twain last year, whoever gets the next headliner slots will have a lot to live up to.
