The Scots have always had a special connection with the Irish. Sometimes that looks like teaming up to joke about the English, and other times it looks like three Irish bands headlining Scotland’s biggest music festival all at once.
That’s right, TRNSMT 2025 will see Snow Patrol, The Script and Fontaines DC hitting the stage in Glasgow Green, and they’re not alone. Inhaler and Kneecap, two more of the Emerald Isle’s biggest up-and-comers, will also be at the festival, with the former even stating that ‘Glasgow is always one of our favourite cities to play in… we are absolutely buzzing.’ What did we tell you? Special connection.

Non-Irish acts are also allowed in, though. 50 Cent and Gracie Abrams will make their way across the pond, and Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro will find their way all the way over the river Clyde.
TRNSMT will take place between July 11 and 13 2025, back on Glasgow Green as usual. Some early-bird tickets will be released this Friday (December 6) if you’re really keen, or just like a good deal. Here’s everything you need to know about TRNSMT 2025.
Dates and Location
TRNSMT is always in July, at the height of summer, when you’re marginally more likely to see a sunny weekend in Glasgow. Next year it’ll be on Friday 11, Saturday 12, and Sunday 13 July 2025 on Glasgow Green in the east-end of the city.
Lineup
Friday
50 Cent will headline on Friday, with the Script coming on right before to warm up the crowd. Other artists who are slated for Friday include:
- Wet Leg
- Kneecap
- Confidence Man
- Jamie Webster
- Twin Atlantic
- The Royston Club
- Calum Bowie
- Tanner Adell
Saturday
Saturday’s headliner will be Biffy Clyro, with Fontaines DC sitting just below them on the bill. Fontaines have been steadily making their way up the TRNSMT ranks since they first played the small King Tut’s stage back in 2019, so they’ll undoubtedly get to that top spot sometime soon.
Other acts playing on Saturday include:
- The Kooks
- Underworld
- Inhaler
- Sigrid
- Wunderhorse
- Jake Bugg
- James Marriott
- Biig Piig
- Amble
Sunday
Sending the weekend out with a bang are Snow Patrol and Gracie Abrams demonstrating that TRNSMT has always been one for bridging generational borders.
The rest of Sunday’s lineup (so far) is:
- Shed Seven
- The Lathums
- The K’s
- Nina Nesbitt
- Nieve Ella
- Rianne Downey
- Kerr Mercer

The first early bird tickets will go on sale this Friday (December 6) at 9am, which will be at a discounted price, and you can grab those here. Day tickets will be £89.50 each, and weekend tickets will start at £249.
