It’s January, which means that everyone is currently what experts call ‘broke’. If you’re eagerly anticipating your January pay check but still want to treat yourself to something to look forward to, we’ve got some great news.

Eurostar is currently having a flash sale in collaboration with Uber, where you can bag one-way tickets from as little as £39. You can hop on a train in London and step out in the centre of Paris in less than two and a half hours, all for a little less dosh than usual.

The tickets will be available until this Friday (January 22) unless they sell out sooner – which is certainly a possibility. There are 50,000 tickets between London, Paris, Lille and Brussels up for grabs, and you can make your voyage any time between January 24 and March 27. What better way to escape the horrors of British wintertime than sipping a hot chocolate by the Seine?

Because the sale is in partnership with Uber, you’ll also receive 10 percent of your purchase back in the form of credits. That’s at least half of your next cab on a night out!

Grab your tickets from the Uber website or app before they sell out. You’ll need an Uber account to purchase tickets.

Book something to beat those January blues
