The other week, Jeff Lynne’s legendary Electric Light Orchestra announced they would be hanging up their guitars for good with a huge farewell show at London’s Hyde Park next summer. Which was great news for London’s ELO fans, but not so great for Britons who don’t live in the capital (or don’t fancy trekking to the show).
But today (October 29) we have an excellent update: ELO’s Over and Out Tour will be coming to more UK arenas next July – including, excitingly, to Jeff Lynne’s native Birmingham. The band will return to play one final hometown show next summer.
And that isn’t all. ELO will be playing another date in Manchester – meaning loads more Brits will get to say goodbye to the classic band. Here’s everything you need to know about the shows, from dates to ticket prices.
