Download festival, the UK’s mightiest celebration of rock and metal music, is quite rightly regarded as one of the nation’s best music festivals. Every year the fields of Leicestershire’s Donington Park are treated to one of the biggest lineups in Britain – and in 2025 that’ll be the case once again.
Back in November Download revealed its first wave of bands playing in 2025, following in the wake of 2024 headliners Queens of the Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold. Next year’s edition will take place on June 13-15 and it’ll be headed up by Green Day, Sleep Token and KoRn, all of which are big headliners, as is usual for Download. But further down the bill are even more huge names: Weezer, Bullet For My Valentine, Sex Pistols (featuring Frank Carter), McFly and The Darkness are all set to play.
And this week Download has added a bunch more names to its 22nd edition. Rise Against, Shinedown, Opeth, Kids In Glass Houses and Palaye Royale are among the new names revealed for 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about Download 2025, from the lineup to ticket availability.
