The way we shop for fashion has evolved massively over the years, with online marketplace apps like Vinted and Depop becoming a part of our daily shopping routines. But with the absence of fitting rooms, it can sometimes feel like a roll of the dice as to whether it’ll actually be the right size.
If you’re sick of ordering the wrong-sized stuff on Depop, we’ve got tremendous news. The secondhand fashion marketplace app has announced that it is opening a series of physical pop-up shops around the UK, allowing their customers to shop their favourite online sellers IRL.
The pop-up series will kick off in the lead up to Christmas and run in collaboration with retail pop-up provider Sook. It’ll take over iconic retail spaces around the country, from London’s Oxford Street to the Birmingham Bullring, Liverpool One and Edinburgh’s St. James Quarter.
Rather than just any old vintage and second-hand clothes pop-up, Depop’s shops will see eleven of the app’s biggest sellers flogging their good. The sellers include kathandrosa (who will take over London’s South Molton Street on November 30 with an edit of handpicked vintage and Y2K pieces), katierowe100 (a favourite of Pink Pantheress, no less!), jwarren, shophenri and chrissynx, among others.
The full list of pop-up dates and specific locations haven’t yet been revealed. However, here are the London spaces and sellers.

The rest of the pop-ups will take place in 2024.

And we know plenty about that here at Time Out, from our ranking of London’s best thrift stores to our list of the 50 secondhand shops that really, really cool Londoners love.
