The biggest days in the UK’s dance music calendar are fast approaching. Creamfields has been bringing together the best and brightest in EDM since the late nineties, even expanding into twin festivals, Creamfields north and south, for a few years. This year the fest’s organisers are returning to their roots and only doing one edition near Manchester in Cheshire.
This year Creamfields’ mega-party is returning with a huge lineup, and no doubt it will be just as eventful as usual. Headliners this year include Scottish superstar DJ Calvin Harris and drum and bass legends Chase & Status.
If you’re one of the 70,000 people heading to Cheshire this weekend, we’re here to help. We’ve got all the info you might need, including who’s playing and where the thing actually is, into one easily accessible place. Here’s the essential info you should know about Creamfields 2024.

Creamfields 2024 dates and location
This year, Creamfields north and south are combining into one mega cream-field. This is taking place in Daresbury Estate, a park in Cheshire sort of between Manchester and Liverpool.
You can arrive at the campsite anytime from Thursday (August 22) at noon, but the music will take place from midday until late on Friday (August 23), Saturday (August 24) and Sunday (August 25).
Beware of heavy traffic getting to and from the festival this weekend – it’s a bank holiday and the roads are set to be pretty busy. Expect longer journey times than usual particularly if you’re passing Leeds (or Reading, for some reason) on your way to the north.

Weather forecast
So far, the weather is looking alright. It could be better, but it could be worse, so you have to look on the bright side, right?
Currently there is forecasted to be spots of sun and rain, which, if you’re putting a positive spin on it, just means you get to cool off and don’t overheat while you dance. Temperature wise, you’re looking at highs of 18-19C during the daytime with nighttime temperatures dipping to 10C, so make sure to bring a jumper.
Make sure to keep checking the forecast on BBC Weather here for the most up to date information as it does tend to change like, well, the weather.
