Last month, Cardiff was given the privilege of hosting Billy Joel for his only European show of 2024, following the end of his 10-year residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden. But don’t worry if you missed out, Billy fans – the legendary musician has just announced that he is returning for two more exclusive UK shows in 2025.
Billy will be bringing his timeless tunes to Edinburgh and Liverpool in June next year. So, if you want to experience ‘Piano Man’ and ‘Uptown Girl’ live in concert, here’s what you need to know about getting your hands on tickets.

Confirmed Billy Joel UK tour dates in 2025
Billy is playing just two UK shows next year. They are:
- Saturday June 7: Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield
- Saturday June 21: Liverpool, Anfield Stadium
When do tickets go on sale?
General sale goes live on Friday, October 4 at 10am. You can buy your tickets directly from the Billy Joel website, AEG Presents, LiveNation, AXS or Ticketmaster.
Is there a presale?
There’s a presale taking place with Live Nation, which begins at 10am on October 3, at the same time as a Ticketmaster presale. Just make sure you’ve created an account for one of those sites before they go live.
Ticket prices
As usual, we won’t know precise ticket prices until nearer to when the sale goes live. However, the cost of tickets were for his Cardiff show might give us a good indication. Reserved seating started at £89.30 (including booking fees) and standing began at £132, going up to £169.50.
