Team GB hasn’t won any gymnastics medals yet at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games – but we’ve come damn close. In both the men’s and women’s team finals, GB placed fourth and narrowly missed out on medal positions.

But there will be plenty more opportunities this week, with upcoming finals in all-round and individual events. The men’s all-round final took place on Wednesday July 31, with Japan’s Shinnosuke Oka taking gold and GB’s Joe Fraser playing fifth. The women’s artistic all-round event will be held on later today, on Thursday August 1.

While the favourites will undoubtedly be US Olympic stars Simone Biles and Suni Lee, GB will also be represented – though not by Rebecca Downie, who hasn’t been selected for the all-round final. Alice Kinsella and Georgia-Mae Kenton will rep Team GB instead.
